Discovering Camarines Sur

Last semester this school year 2010-2011, I packed my bags earlier than usual, charged my camera and started to imagine the cool breeze coming from the Nalalata Falls, dipping in a natural spring of Burabod Farm Resort and experience Organic Agriculture in CBSUA. Unfortunately, that idea was cut shored, as I received a text message saying that the original plan is canceled due to the bad weather conditions. I then scrolled down and tried to do something.

As the day came, everyone is excited as most of my classmates are first-timers. When we reach the drop point, we were immediately by the Barangay Captain of Lubgan, Bula, Camarines Sur. They gave us our safety instructions, the Barangay Captain told us the “Do’s and Don’ts” in Nalalata Falls, some of which are the superstitious beliefs about the place. They provided us a tour guide and we started to discover the place. One of my favorite is the majestic image of the Falls. Then, we decided to plan an escapade to Nalalata Falls to venture into the coolest natural spring at Kasugad, Bula, Camarines Sur. We took a much needed rest after a long walk, in a few minutes, we didn’t wasted our time and everyone tried to dip in a natural spring. It was the coolest spring I ever experienced.

After we experienced the eco-adventure, we also visited the Organic Farm located at CBSUA, Pili, Camarines Sur. At this time, I’ve realized that organic agriculture is the best thing to do to save ourself and our Mother Earth from the harmful effects of pesticides, chemicals and so on. It is so good to live a healthy life and a safe Earth. We can only achieve this thru Organic Agriculture. So, come and experience the CBSUA Organic Farm.
